| Nels and Shawna Bloom, the proprietors of Nelligan's Island, are a fun loving couple that ride Harley's and raise registered Tennessee Walking Horses and Spotted Saddle Horses. We spent a full year renovating our back yard and the end result is the lovely tropical facility that you see on these pages. Someone came over one day and teasingly called our little paradise "Nelligan's Island" and the name stuck. We have had so many people express interest in using our back yard to get married in that we thought "Why not do it for a profit?" And Nelligan's Island Tropical Weddings was born! |
